Trend Tiles Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group Charity Golf Day 2023

The 26th February saw 146 pink golfers participate in the 2nd Trend Tiles Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group Charity Golf Day. 

The day was very well supported by a variety of amateur and novice golfers. All teams embraced the pink theme, dressing up for the occasion. The "Tradie Ladies" team may not have won with their golfing skills but took out the prize of Best Dressed Team, congratulations.

The Fox team consisting of Phil, Mick, Ben and Brian came away with the win, congratulations team! At the conclusion of the day a charity auction was held generating lots of interest and bids from the community.

Young James Davis played a pivotal role on the 6th hole, for a small fee he switched places with the golfers and took their tee shot for them. The non-golfers at the event quickly took James up on this offer which proved to be very popular and James himself raised $461 for the IBCSG.

The day raised an incredible $23185.85. We wish to say a very big thankyou to Mindy and Ben Davis who initiated and organised the day, the IBCSG ladies who assisted on the day and to the many business houses and locals who donated and attended the day. 

Inverell business houses and the people of Inverell never fail to support our group whenever we need assistance and we know how tough it has been for businesses these past few years, so thankyou very much. Your support and generosity is overwhelming.

The money raised goes to the many ladies and children of Inverell and the close surrounding areas who are going through a cancer diagnosis, making life more bearable during this difficult time.
